The Cascade Range in Washington holds a very special place in my heart.
I grew up in the suburbs of NYC and nature didn’t play a very big role in my childhood, hiking even less so. In 2015, I decided on a whim to take a vacation to Washington to do some hiking. This was a time in my life filled with uncertainty – I had finished college the year before but wasn’t sure what I wanted to do with my life. The visit was life-changing and I’ve gone to Washington to hike almost every summer since then.
